An exciting concert featuring works by French composers and other composers' French impressions
French composers were lucky: they lived in France. Other composers were lucky too. They visited Paris and came away inspired to give us some wonderful musical impressions of their stay there. We mustn’t forget the lovely street songs of Paris: “Under Paris Skies,” “Moulin Rouge,” “C’est Si Bon,” “The Falling Leaves,” “La Vie en Rose.” Listen to this music and reminisce about the aromas, the sidewalk cafés, the wine, the theater, the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame — or daydream about finally visiting Paris! |
