Bio
Jeff Bowlsby joined the Contra Costa Wind Symphony this season as principal trombonist. He has been playing trombone for more than 40 years and is known for his warm tone, high range and jazz improvisation. He has been principal trombone and soloist with ensembles such as the USAF Strategic Air Command Symphonic Band and the Noteables Big Band, various local big bands, the San Jose Wind Symphony and the Bay Bones. He also plays alto trombone, bass trombone and euphonium. He is an architect during the day and lives in San Ramon.
